Enclave is built with privacy as our core principle. We use end-to-end encryption to ensure that your fitness data remains private and secure. This means that your workout data is encrypted on your device before it leaves, and only the people you choose to share with can decrypt and view it.

What We Cannot See

Due to our end-to-end encryption architecture, we cannot see:

• Your workout details (distance, duration, pace, etc.)
• Your workout routes or maps
• Your heart rate, power, or other biometric data
• Comments or interactions on activities
• The content of your private communications

Information We Collect

To provide our service, we collect minimal information:

• Account Information: Username and authentication credentials
• Public Key: Your public encryption key (used to encrypt data for you)
• Encrypted Data: Your encrypted activities and metadata
• Usage Data: Basic technical information to maintain and improve the service

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Enclave service
• Facilitate encrypted sharing between users
• Improve and optimize our service
• Ensure the security and integrity of our platform
• Comply with legal obligations

HealthKit Data

If you choose to connect Enclave with Apple Health:

• We only access the workout data you grant permission for
• HealthKit data is processed locally on your device
• HealthKit data is encrypted before being shared with others
• We never share your HealthKit data with third parties

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Your encrypted fitness data is only shared with users you explicitly choose to follow. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data Security

• End-to-end encryption using modern cryptographic standards
• Secure data transmission over TLS/SSL
• Regular security audits and updates
• Encryption keys stored securely on your device

Your Rights

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data from our servers within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Children's Privacy

Enclave is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
